Just like every year, this year also we held Counselor’s Training for Academic year 2026-27. It was held from 1st June 2026 to 12th June 2026. Head Coordinator Girija Likhite, welcomed New Counselors, introduced them about working at PDC. New Counselor’s keen to learn and little nervous and excitement. Day 1 was filled with Introduction and activities. Day 2 and Day 3 was full of modules for primary and secondary. Special Session was taken by Hema Ashtaputre Ma’am about Child and Counselling. Value Education is very important for child to learn in initial school years, Kaustubh Joglekar guided the counselors about preparing a module, conducting the activities. AI is the future and many of our counselors use it, session was arranged by PDC. MR. Ritesh Sharma AI expert guided us on using different AI sources for different uses. Counselors also cleared their doubts about it. Between these sessions PDC also conducted different sessions, Metaphor Therapy, REE by inhouse expert counselor Shubha Kulkarni. Surekha Nande our Assistant Coordinator guided on SPM conduction, report writing, monthly meetings, and other rules and regulations. On last day, wonderful session on LGBTIQ was held for our counselor, they might come up to any student needing help, counselor’s were prepared for this by Bindumadhav Khire.
